START WITH YOUR REQUIREMENT

Find the teak panel for your finished component.

Go straight to your product

Start with the finished component. Thin 2, 2.5 and 3.5mm panels need a carrier or frame; the broader teak-faced range serves furniture and interior joinery. Choose natural or engineered appearance, then use straight or crown figure to organise the visible fronts and panels.

Share an elevation or insert drawing with the grain direction and parts that meet. A finished pair, edge or framed sample helps settle the appearance and fit before you commit the sheets to cutting.

Build the thin panel around its support

Select the face, reverse and core with the actual carrier or frame. For bonded skins, specify the converting adhesive separately from the factory plywood bond and include the complete thickness after coating. For curved work, provide the grain direction, radius and forming process for a trial. For load-bearing, exterior or marine work, specify the complete panel, bond, protection and required evidence alongside the teak appearance.

Allocate the grain before calculating sheet quantities

Mark adjoining faces, crown positions and permitted rotation on the elevation. Include trim, joints and visible openings in the cutting plan so a good geometric yield also gives the intended appearance. Review a finished pair or junction, then retain its face reference, drawing revision and part labels for production and repeat pieces.

Teak Veneer Plywood questions

Should I choose natural teak or an engineered teak-look face?

Compare the actual faces under your intended finish. Natural teak brings its offered grain and tone range; an engineered option uses an identified design and material. We can help select the appearance for your project and keep its identity in the sample and quotation.

Which thin teak panel should I start with?

Compare 2mm for bonded skins and supported liners, 2.5mm for retained or recessed inserts, and 3.5mm for supported linings or access panels. Send the carrier or frame detail and completed size so we can help narrow the construction.

Can you position crown grain on a front or insert?

Yes. Mark the visible opening, top direction and adjoining parts. The dedicated 2mm crown route lets us discuss the figure position, face reference and cutting arrangement, then review a sample against the actual visible window.

Do the thin-panel routes share the same sheet size?

The 2 and 3.5mm ranges list three formats up to 1500 × 3000mm. The 2.5mm route uses 1220 × 2440mm as a family reference, while crown 2mm lists 1220 × 2440mm and 1250 × 2550mm. Select the actual format with the construction and quantity.

Can you supply coordinated teak furniture sets?

Yes. Send the elevation or cutting list with matching groups, grain direction, sizes and quantities. We can plan the veneer, reverse, core, edging and finish, with sample references and labels for the parts that belong together.

Can I use a teak-faced panel for a marine project?

Send the marine use, construction and required documents with your teak appearance brief. We can discuss the complete panel, bond and protection for that job; keep those requirements alongside the selected decorative face in your quotation.

How do I approve the finished fit of a thin insert?

Use the actual frame or carrier and include the retained edges, adhesive and coating. Measure the completed assembly and review the visible grain at the same time, then retain the sample and drawing for the production order.
